April Favourites

I can't believe how fast April has gone, and that May is here already!
So throughout May I changed my make-up up a bit to more of a spring look, so I'm going to start with my favourite make-up products.

The first is a lipstick that I mentioned in my Revlon Spring Lipsticks Review, and it is the Revlon Colourburst balm Stain, in the colour 001 Honey Douce.

I really love the colour of this, and it lasts a long time. It also has a slight minty smell. I like that it's a matte finish and the colour is very suited for spring/summer. I find myself reaching for this every morning at the moment.

Next, is the Revlon Cream Blush in the colour 150 Charmed Enchantment.

I wanted to get a brighter blush for spring time, and after using a powder blush for a while I was curious to try a cream blush, and I'm glad I did. It's easy to blend and it also stays on a long time. You don't need a lot of it to get a good look, hence why it looks like I've barely touched it! I use an angled blush brush and put it above my cheekbones and blend outwards.

Along with this, I use my Makeup Academy Undress your Skin Shimmer Highlighter powder.

this is really light weight and just adds a slight shimmer to the areas you want to highlight. I use it on the tops of my cheeks just above my blush and a small amount just below my brow line. They also do this in a lighter colour if you want something a little more subtle.

That's it for make-up products, next up is a hair product and it's the Organix Argan oil of Morocco.

This leaves my hair feeling really great, as I'm sure many of you know Argan Oil is supposed to be really good for your hair and for hair growth. I'm not sure whether it's helped my hair growth yet but it definitely makes my hair feel great. I rub a small amount in my palms and then put it on the ends of my hair. It says on it to put it all through your hair but I avoid my roots as it leaves it feeling greasy. You only need a small amount, so a bottle this size will last a long long time.

My last couple of products are both from The Body Shop, and both Mango scented. I love Mango! and The Body Shop, so it's no surprise I've been loving these products and they are The Body Shop Mango Body Scrub:

and The Body Shop Mango Body Sorbet:

I tend to use these products together, using the Body Scrub in the shower and then the body sorbet when I get out, that way I smell of mango all day long! I love all the body scrubs I've ever tried from The Body Shop and this one is no exception, it smells great and feels great. It also lasts a long time. As for the sorbet, I mentioned in my March Favourites that I was using the Vitamin E Face Sorbet which I love, so when I saw this I couldn't resist buying it. I really like the texture of the sorbet and I find it really moisturising without leaving my skin oily which I get from some creams. The combination of a sorbet and the mango scent is like heaven to me! I can't get enough of mango smelling products, so both these together are perfect.

If like me you love The Body Shop I really recommend getting the Love Your Body loyalty card. It's £5 to buy or free if you're a student, and you get 10% off every shop as well as £5 off when you get your 4th stamp and £10 when you get your 8th stamp, as well as a £5 gift on your birthday. So you get your money back you pay for the card and more and they occasionally do special events where you get extra discount if you have a loyalty card. I know some products from The Body Shop can be more on the expensive side so this card comes in handy!

So that's all my favourites from April, hope you find this useful, let me know if you have used any of these products and what you thought of them in the comments.

Revlon Spring Lipsticks

So seen as it's finally spring and the sun is out, I thought I would do a Spring lipsticks review. I didn't actually realise until I gathered my lipsticks together for this post that they are all Revlon! These are my favourite spring colours, I hope you find this useful if you're looking for some colours to add to your spring make up!

Lush Haul

So just before Easter I ordered some bath stuff from lush and then I also went in to the shop and bought some more! I find it so hard to walk past Lush with out it luring me in, it just smells so good and then I can't resist buying stuff!
So I wanted to share with you all what I bought.

March Favourites

Well this year is going incredibly fast! It's April already, which makes me excited for spring and then summer!

So I wanted to share with you my favourites from March.

Firstly, is the Ultraviolet Bubble bar from Lush.

I absolutely love the smell of this! It smells like parmaviolet sweets, which gives me childhood flashbacks. I've used a lot of different lush bath bombs and bubble bars and this is the first one I've had where my skin still smelt of it the next day, not to mention it left my bathroom smelling great! I've already bought another one of these and I'm looking forward to using it!

Next, is the Raspberry body scrub from The Body Shop.

So I thought this was limited edition a while ago and they had stopped selling it, but I went into the shop a few weeks ago and they had some of these out on sale so I had to buy one. It smells so good and lasts for ages as you only need a small amount at a time. It's one of my favourite body scrubs to use.

Also from the body shop, is the over night vitamin E serum-in-oil.

This is also limited edition, annoyingly I seem to fall in love with things that are limited edition and get upset what they stop selling them! so I may have to stock up on this before that happens. I get really dry skin on my forehead and nose and this is the first thing I've found in ages that actually helps with that. I've been using it every night and my skin feels great. I think the fact it's a serum won me over as it seems to sink into my skin better and doesn't leave an oily feeling like you may expect with a serum. I would thoroughly recommend this as my skin still feels great it the morning. You only need a few drops so I suspect it's going to last for ages!

Continuing my love of Body Shop, next is another product from the Vitamin E limited edition range, the Vitamin E Sorbet.

I use this in the morning and I prefer it to a normal moisturising cream. The sorbet has such a nice texture and smells amazing! It just feels so much nicer than a cream and between this and the serum my skin is definitely getting better and feels more moisturised.

After hearing everyone talk about how great primers are and having tried a few myself and not been that taken with them, I finally found one I like: The Maybeline Baby Skin Primer.

It's affordable, and it works. You don't need a lot of it and it blends easily into the skin and since I've been using it I feel like my foundation sits better on my skin and lasts longer.

Also in my make-up favourites is the Bourjois Bronzer and Highlighter palette.

So I've had this for a while but as the weather is starting to finally get warmer I have been using it more and more. I mainly use the bronzer to contour, putting it down the sides of my nose and under my cheek bones.

Next, another palette, the eyes uncovered palette from Collection.

I feel like this is a more affordable version of the Urban Decay Naked Eye Palette. I love all the bronzey colours in this as I really love a more natural looking, subtle eye make up at the moment. I combine two or three of the colours and it looks great with a brighter lip.

All of these things I've been loving throughout March, if you've been enjoying any of these products then let me know what you think of them in the comments or if you have any questions feel free to ask :)
